Just something I noticed:

Seems like some guys, want those "wear strips" added to poly snouts.

 Maybe they wait until it wears down some, in those high wear areas, I don't know.

 I just wonder if it is better, to add them, before too much wear occurs, or if it is no problem, afterwards.

Maybe, someone with experience will chime in.
