Have never found anyone who tells the truth about mileage. Kinda like yields, they tell you a number regardless what it actually is. A duramax pulling a 27 ft. camper should not get that bad. I agree with the others that something is wrong with it. Does it have 3.73 or 4.10 rear end. A 4.10 at 80+ mph would be a lot of engine rpm's. My 02 at 80 mph pulling a trailer will run at 2500 to 2600 with 3.73's. If it had 4.10's, I guessing 3000+ rpm. That's way too fast for a diesel. Just my thoughts.
