NS Canada | Our experience in single vs inline has been that with singles - we stack in our farm yard next to the barns, there's a ton of cats around and people activity, so no damage from rats or mice and very little from birds. You just have to be careful with your grab while stacking not to poke a hole.
With inline, we would put them out in a field along a woods line, to have the space to work with, and not in the middle of a field as to rut it all up once you're retrieving them.. They were terrible for foxes running along the tops, neighbours have had bears dig into theirs, and crows poking holes in them. And then you have to deal with snow drifting right over the row, and getting out to them. Less plastic used, and faster to wrap generally, but comes with its own set of hassles. | |
