Check the park service web site for Glacier, it includes such information and cameras of critical parts of the road. The road is often slow to open because in some places it can accumulate 80 feet of snow and there's a few thousand foot drop off if the snow plow misses the road. Its often first open in July, so it could close early depending on the mountain weather.
