Leesburg, Ohio | Plastic savings with the inline depends, of course, on the settings for how many layers you use, but I would say the savings could easily be 50%. The ends on a bale from an individual wrapper have, what, 12-15 layers of plastic? And the inline has none. You might get by with less layers on the sides of a bale from the individual wrapper, since they can be stored on end where the many layers of plastic are, but that is a big amount on the ends to overcome.
The inline wrapper is much more convenient while wrapping, IMHO. You don't have to re-position them after wrapping. And more convenient while getting rid of (much less) plastic.
The convenience of being able to move individual bales without losing the seal is in favor of the individual wrapper, obviously.
We have used the McHale individual wrapper, and now own an Anderson in-line.
The Anderson bale wagon speeds things up greatly. | |
