ecmn | I talk to my banker about return on investment not actual farm work. he doesn't care about tractor this or planter that. he cares about if he gives me a dollar how am I going to give him his dollar back after expenses.
I did tell my banker that we had rental ground that was not turning a profit for the last 3 years, simply wont produce enough to cover its costs. so I told him we are putting it to hay ground, if it don't grow good hay we will give it up. he agreed that we are better off not planting a crop them planting a crop on losing ground. | |
