There is a reason why most trucks and trailers have multiple lights per side. Makes cleaner set up.
Do the truck lights operate correctly?
You might be better off buying a modual from a car/pickup and installing it in your truck......four inputs (left,right,brake and tail) and will operate the lights properly.
