If you are going to store beans it takes a pretty good care to cover your interest cost. You might be able to put a lot of $ worth in a bin but that is also a lot of interest to pay. There is not a lot of interest on corn as cheap as it is and you can even take out a CCC loan with cheaper interest. The carry is better for corn and less interest to pay.
