I've said this before but once again... in the late 90s I was involved with a committee that researched and looked to develop new mcpi products. On a trip to RMA in KC we were told that they had the capability to adjust yields within 5% via satellite  (then, think what they are capable of 15 years later) but that the farmer would not accept the lack of a human presence. Everything from the market to national security hinges on the information you fellows are discussing. They already have it, they only want it ground truthed.
