personally whish they would end the program -- It has hurt farmers way more than helped -
He is a little tidbit for you - Whenever you remove risk from any business you remove reward PERIOD
And the farmer has used the subsidized Insurance program to bid away a lot of reward.
The crop insurance subsidy has simply been bid into the cost of land and in the long run that will not be good
and by taking the risk of performance out of the equation of farming it has allowed farmers that do not have the ability to manage small operations balloon those into large operation and get checks from the Insurance company ( Uncle Sam ) to cover up their failures of management.
I wont join you-all to be a Pro Farmer basher
