Napanee, Ontario | I'm not saying the USDA has a tight seal by any means, but the big difference is information you provide them is bound by privacy legislation - ie they arn't actively out there whoring it out for big $$$ to anyone who would love to turn the knife into your back on the next purchase & sale negotiation you have to undertake in your business.
Then again, we don't have the USDA up here... but any info we have provided to the gov't at least comes with the assurance that it will be ascribed careful privacy protection.
Taxes for example - people don't want anyone, let alone folks you do business with, knowing your finances.... so why give them operating data? They arn't idiots. If you tell them every other aspect of your operation, & price data is public information.... well gee gomer, 1 + 1 = 2. | |
