South central Minnesota | You stated one grower had decided to defoliate his soybeans, what are his costs to do that? What stage are they at ? It seems like forcing a crop to mature cuts yield but if it's mostly mature and he is trying to finish the job you won't be hurt so bad. Barely turning and thinking of defoliating would seem to be a rash decision. Were they contracted and what is the delivery time? August delivery is out, maybe first half September ? Bids fall off after the 20th, and chs has no bid for the end of September . 1.30 premium over bids now? | |
