God's Country (N.C. Ia) | Everyone is talking about this huge crop in corn we have coming this fall and how the price can only go lower. I'm certainly no expert, but my simple brain says that even at the current price, there has to be a couple hog co's and maybe even some chicken co's looking at the new blueprints for some more expansion. Meat exports have been up most of the year, and I've heard it said that the hog guys are getting a handle on this pedv thing, so isn't it safe to assume that demand for corn and soys will be up in the next couple years? Kinda in the Mark Wright camp on this thing longterm, but not betting a farm I don't even have on it. Just wondering what everyone else thinks? | |
