Subject: No they will not show up on NASS Sept. report and may never show up

Red River Valley
the planted acres from FAS are not a completed total acres as of yet their ratio to finial planted acres can be as little as 92% to as much as 98 % in the past so if the low end is the number than guys are counting on some thing that will not happen, if it is more to the high end than they will be proven correct in their assumptions.

On the other hand the PP acres that were covered by Insurance all had to be reported and filed at the time of the reports. At this time PP acres are down by a little over 3 million from last year ( if my math is correct ??) and there was 2 million crp acres that came out last year.

so there sit's the dilemma did the farmer ( without having had sighned up for a farm program ) be more lackadaisical in reporting acres to FSA or is there just a lot of acres that were not PP and went into something else like Pasture or some of the very minor crops.
