Subject: Re: 900/65R32 vs 30.5x32 combine tires

Cliff, the 2388 we bought last year came with Goodyear VA73x44.00-32 Supper Terra grip tires, not sure how they match up in size to the 900/65R32s but are quite a bit wider & have deeper tires than the 30.5 x 32s that were on the 2366 and at 44 inches wide put more tire on the ground than dualed 20.8s I wanted to go with duals but IHboog wanted to try these. Last year wasn't an excessively wet year here for us but from what I have seen so far I am impressed with the tires and would rate then better than duals.

We did have a couple rains during harvest that held most of the guys out for a day or two waiting on the ground to solidify but we were able to go back out the next day in one instance & that afternoon in another. Both times the ground was slick & soft enough that we were unable to use the tractor & grain cart but the combine didn't track much deeper than normal. Most of the time no more than the depth of the tread. I believe the rear tires are 18.4x26

Hopefull I can upoad a pic.
