![](http://www.feedsource.com/images/wywldd.gif) Southeast Wyoming | Wheel tracks are constant problem with center pivots in our area. In the last couple of years the maker of "rotator" nozzles has came out with a 190° pattern nozzle; the neighbor swears by them, especially when used in conjunction with dragback nozzles. I just renozzled one of my center pivots, using iwobs, except the first and second drop inside and outside the tower have dragbacks. The dragbacks were developed locally and have a 180° nozzle weighted in a cone so that it always sprays up. I was skeptical at first but they are working for now; the crop interfers with water distribution but if they reduce wheel track problems, some crop loss is okay. | |
