The bucket of water looks like it is just water not a water / anti freeze mix. If that is the case look for places that rain water can enter engine.
The cranks in that are very, very hard. I have polished the crank after a oil pump failure and got along just fine. That was the recommendation
of the White service rep.

I am not sure, but I thought you could loosen up the rear axle support and get the pan off. It been 35 years ago, so I kind of forget.




It did have some antifreeze in the mix BUT far from the amount I was expecting. Rad has nothing visible so I'm not sure where its gone. exhaust is covered with rain cap and intake is completely intact. No holes in the block and oil filler cap was on...... I will be digging into her this afternoon for a look see
