| About the companies trying to take advantage of the "dumb" farmers, we've been on the edge of developments almost all my life (I'm 52) and I can't count the number of times someone has come to us thinking they could take advantage of us. We even caused one realator to have his license pulled by the state becauseof the scam he was trying to pull to buy easement for power lines.
As for the dogs, I can't think of a single time either of the two heelers I have owned have misjudged someone. Very good judge of character and very posessive about what is theirs, which is basically anything we own. Both were rescue dogs, but quickly became part of the family. Our third rescue dog stays outside, but we can tell by the tone of her bark if there is someone there she knows or if it's a stranger. | |
