SOUTHERN MN | I work at a large 3M plant as a mechanic. My schedule has it were I am on the night shift once every 3 weeks and can not use vacation when I am on this shift. So if we are doing field work its work all night and try and farm all day. It gets to be long days but you just work through it. This is were auto steer has been the best money we have spent in a long time. I would say I use 75 percent of my vacation time for doing farm work. I watched the cancer slowly eat away mom wifes body until she passed away at the age of 42 and it is something I will never forget. I now know that life is to short to be working all the time. I am trying to slow down. I am now seeing someone else and she is a city girl and does not like how many hours I put in during a week but she is very understanding. I told her that I am trying to slow down and I want to try and use more of my vacation time for a actual vacation. Time will tell. | |
