Subject: acceptable grain loss in corn?

Elkmont, AL
What do you guys use as a standard for corn kernal loss per sq ft. in a even spread pattern. I am running a red rotor, and I don't feel like I should have any loss, however Im not exactly set up for corn. Specialty rotor with rice spikes the full length of rotor. I know that im getting some butt shelling from the head, due to drought striken corn, I just about have the stripper plates closed. Oh yeah Im only running 6wide in 125bu 15% moisture corn. According to the GLM all of my loss is coming from the rotor, but when i speed the rotor up or thighten the concave I start getting a lot of grinding., I also don't hardly ever see any kernals left on the cob.
