Alberta Canada
I like the rotory combines, they seem to give a cleaner sample. Lots of guys up here use the 9600 as well just you get some more chaff in the sample but thats no big deal. Our 2588 and TR98 give really clean samples. Direct cutting is risky if you get a strong wind you can lose the whole field. I have never seen a stripper header used in canola but theres always a first. Could always do some test plots in the field swath some, direct cut some, use the stripper head on some, use both combines. Could give you a real comparison then and if you are planing to grow more acres you will know what works the best. Might take some time though.
