Rob, there's alot of guys out there running chips for the mileage........nothing wrong with it and it doesn't hurt a thing. Many dealers are aware of this, heck some of them even sell them. Like anything else you just have to use it within reason. The same guys that will abuse a pickup with a chip will probably do the same thing without one (not saying that's the case with you). What is your gross with your 24' trailer?

It's common knowledge that Ford has issues with their powerjoke (sorry) and I'm sure they're looking for every excuse they can find to get out of some of their warranty claims.............got to try to blame some of the problems on something else. Most of these problems have nothing to do with the use of a chip or a change in tire size, and they (ford) know it. Just one more reason I'm a Chevy guy. :^)
