Subject: RE: John Deere I-TEC Pro Best Practices

Wisconsin
We run 3 (36 30in rows) as a min for headlands unless we have a passable boundary we can turn around in. Sometime we put 4 passes if we have hazards we like to have a bit extra room in those few cases. Due to the short window I didn't take the time to test itec pro. I was very happy to find out indeed the 6R170 did autosteer haven't verified Itec but I suspect it will. Long term I would like to have my wife or kids use this to help on the farm. I have times that I could use automation so I can attend to my normal job remotely in the cab and one less thing to worry about while on a conf call is nice. Thanks for all the tips so far. Mother nature wasn't very helpful this spring so most likely strip tilling/vert tilling this fall I will have some time to demo. Love the posting READ READ READ.

Thanks again
