Receding valves and thrust-side wear are the two biggest potential pitfalls to durability.  ~30 bar BMEP would be peak @ peak torque; load factored mean time to failure I think would come after proof of concept.    Let's talk.    This will need an angel like the Ethanol Coalition, etc.
