Subject: Hesston 9240 hydro problem

Bonanza, Or
Anyone ever have the hydro lever in a 8450 or a 9240 become very stiff to move and then start to speed up by itself? We took the inspection cover off the front of the machine and you can watch the arm with the hydro control cylinder keep moving ahead on its own. The frictions on the arm are adjusted properly so I am not sure what is going on. I cannot see why the lever becomes so hard to move. Internal leakage in the control cylinder??? Any ideas?
