King City, Mo | ALS chems will shorten the nodes some too. First rate, classic, scepter.
I noticed in the population plot the thicker beans seemed to get taller earlier. I haven't pulled any plants and measured them now. With the jumps they all look about the same. I need to pull some and look at the stalk thickness. My beans are not super tall in the plots as the cows grazed this spring a little too long and had ALS pre and post plus burnt them a little with prefix.
Are you using an innoculant that has a biological stimulant in it for root growth? We gotta get all the nutrients into the plant, you can eliminate the moisture yield limiting factor with the pivot so growing season length and nutrients are where to focus.
Also are you planting a bush bean, or semi bush?
How thick are your bean stalks?
This is from field by moms 14 acres that just kicks butt with beans. Planted at 16X,000 may 19th or so. 3.2nongmo clear hilium tofo bean. Pulled a 3 weeks ago.
