something like that, keeping grass from going to seed increases production, keeping alfalfa from flowering increases production, but beans, boy oh boy, kind of have to switch the energy 3 times while growing and thats a little hard, but the irrigate guys can do alot with water and the right nutrients. i would compare fertilizing crops to making a A bomb, take for instance brads high calcium soil tests make amso4 perform awesome but that same fert in a low calcium soil wont do squat. its all about getting a big explosion in a way that your plants can absorb right?
