| Try disconnecting the chain on the top of the tailings elevator that runs the cross auger. If the slip-clutch doesn't slip, then you have a problem with the cross-auger above the cylinder. I had a 4400 once that wore out the bottom of the cross-auger tube and it would catch when the bearing went out. That auger shaft (at least on a 4400) is only supported by bearings on one end. If the bearing starts to fail, it will allow the cross-auger shaft to sag and catch. | |
