swmn | I currently do not pull myself, but I do attend a bunch of events. I know that the some of the people that pull use a hand held GPS. They mount them right in front of them on the dash or whatever. The pullers watch their speed pretty close and adjust the throttle when needed. There is a horn on most sleds and will sound once to warn you, the second time DQ. Once you pull a couple of time you will get the feel of it. I would try to stay a close to 7 mph as you can. Most of all, just have a lot of fun and don't expect to win the first time out. It just takes time to get everything set up right. Good Luck!! | |
