ND | I have used a Crary/Waynes plow with a 12" boot. On the right tractor it works great. Below is a link to a video that I created for my first project. At 1:25 I installed a 12" main 3.5' down with no pull tractor for the 330' that comes in the roll. Later in the video I am installing 6" about 7' down and hit a sand ridge. It wasn't that I ran out of traction, I ran out of Horse Power and I was using a 550 Quadtrac (I have been told, the tractor doesn't derate the drive at low gears, it does derate the PTO). The Crary plow when put on a 4 wheel drive will transfer all the weight to the rear axle.
