the few who do the damage with oversize tires and power chips have succeeded in getting the manufacturers attention and thus have forced all to live with the consequences.
Let the market speak: restrictions on warranty claims (along with some customer dissatisfaction) vs. more payouts causing manufacturer to raise prices to cover the cost (and associated effect on sales)
