southern edge of central illinois | First off I'm a former banker and now full time farmer for a long
time. That's my bias. I'm always amazed how many people seem
to think banks are like the post office or public transportation. There
to serve. They're not. They are businesses that want to make money
for there stock holders like any other.
They are loaning you money that they must collect plus interest. If not
paid back they have to make it up. And, explain to ever more watchful
Bank examiners what happened.
They are great for business growth if you demonstrate payback ability
have have sufficient assets. I think both sides win if this is kept in mind.
