| I remember the late 70s and 80s all too well. My memory recalls every year during that time by remembering things like "1984?? oh yeah thats the year when they sold out my lifelong best friend"---broke him with a stroke of a pen by valuing his real estate WAY under the market. Banks must be different now according to the banker that just posted (and maybe because of the 80s was the reason it changed) but back then
bankers most certainly did lend according to their beliefs where certain markets were heading. They also pulled the plug on people because of the same reasons.
Brad, I wasn't suggesting that YOU weren't telling the truth, I believe you are repeating what the guy told you about what his banker said to him. Your post said that a guy drove in the yard and mentioned what his banker said.......so it gets to be a third or fourth party translation. I apologize for having it come across differently. Sorry.
