Everyone needs to remember they sit behind the desk and are paid to be conservative. I don't ever remember a banker bullish on any market. Take their money, not their advice. It's your job to run your business, not theirs.

"when it came to the end of the year our "current" bank looked at the inventory and punched in extremely low numbers($800 for bred heifers) and said we are gonna loose money and that we needed to act fast...needless to say against my gut feeling and with huge heartbreak we sold down our herd to 175 pairs and sold those beautiful bred heifers and rented out some of our pastuer, still lie awake at night over that decision"
