Beresford, SD
I had a few calls and bailed 2 weeks ago.......did not have near enough to cover the cattle that are sold. Took off about as much as you did. I have never seen a market like this.........Never in my life have I had a margin like this locked up and still feel disappointed about it. GREED! CRAZY TIMES AND CONDITIONS we are making a living with.

AS far as your question: 2012 I sold about 50% of my corn Ins. guarantee for $8.39.....was hard to do with absolutely not crop to be had, but fluffy crap silage. I bailed on those positions with a little over a $1 bushel profit. Those positions were the first corn I ever sold on the board......Most the time a buyer. Most puts and calls I have run lose money........$4/hundred to the up...........Good call to take it while its there.
