Driftless SW Wisconsin | Here are two more pictures of the FPS on Tuesday. Mud.
For the $$ spent here by everyone and at a non-farm, "permanent" site, you would think that someone would have been able to run a road grader over the streets and crown the roads a bit as any rural township dirt road grader operator would do. Does not cost a lot just need someone to say do it.
I had more than one visitor who had mud up and down one side from slipping. Thousands of folks that drive in or even fly from places like Brazil or Europe deserve some better preparation, in my opinion. A local road commissioner would be voted out of office if he had roads like this.
Many other show sites crown the road so the water runs off not down the middle. This site often gets wet at show time. Visitors had a VERY difficult time even walking booth to booth. It could have been done much better. Thanks to those who braved the mud to visit the booths. jmho.
