Now, if I'm an 80 year old farmer with 1000 acres of good bottom ground looking for a renter  and I come to ag talk and read the posts above, who would I be impressed with? Who shows the kind of maturity that I'm willing to trust with everything I have? I think as you read those, the answer is obvious. For those that didn't do as well, no big deal,  never too late to change a little.

For the record I'm 56 years old. When I go to talk to an 80 year old farmer about renting his ground I always go with my hat in my hand, ready to show him the respect he deserves. After all I don't know what it's like to be 80, but he does know what it's like to be 56.
