Northern Kentucky | I consider myself a young farmer at 33. I have been working and living on a farm since I was 14. Started taking control and having a financial risk/interest in my family farm when I was 23. So 19 years isn't enough experience at a job? I think in the world of farming being younger has more advantages as far as adopting new technologies and crop management practices. Simply for that fact that younger people accept change a little easier. | |
