SE South Dakota | If you look in a parts book or JD online parts yes there is a European version of the flexheads that do offer the SCH. I asked at the dealership about that and they said the European customers demand SCH over the JD cutting system. I don't believe North American customers can purchase these.
As to the statement above about if they were so good JD would offer them, well JD would have to purchase the parts from SCH and JD wouldn't get the manufacturing profits from the parts purchased. For that reason I believe JD doesn't offer SCH on the flexheads to North American customers.
I run SCH on an older JD flexhead. I think they are great.
