| If you bought it, it has value and will depreciate. As far as the buildings, should be an appraisal to determine fair market value. As far as tile, my accountant says up to $300/acre depending on how well it is tiled. I have never heard ao a IRS agent going out and digging up the tile to check your number.
Never had to deal with fence but I am sure the same applies.
Best thing is to get a good accountant who is well versed in ag taxes. Best investment every year for me.
