Far North Idaho | I farm 100 acres dry land spring and winter wheat and have been hiring all of my spraying done, but am thinking its time to get a sprayer. My fields average 20 acres and are odd shaped and have some steep hills and side hills. I also have one field that is too wet in the spring to get a tractor on. So I've been thinking about a either a 200 gallon pull type that could be pulled with my Polaris ranger or a utility tractor. Or a 100 gallon skid sprayer that could go in the back of the Ranger. I am leaning toward a pull type, but I have no experiance with sprayers, so I'm looking for any suggestions, or ideas what I should look for in a sprayer. How will a pull type work on my steep hillsides? Can I be as accurate with a small sprayer as the custom applicators?
Thanks
