sc ia | I use an 8 wheel Sitrex to put two 12ft windrows together and it works O.K. up to about 3 ton an acre. I run the ground pressure light, just enough to pick up the hay. Also, run the wheels as far out on the frame as possible that keeps the V at a steeper angle. And, I set the pivot adjustment to make a real wide windrow (about 6 ft) which helps too. Neighbor has the same rake and he has to make a narrower windrow for his small square baler and that causes him problems like you describe. | |
