middle TN | I would think around $3-$4 per bale is a good place to start. I have rented mine for about that. I would want to know that someone knew how to operate it before I left it for someone to use. They aren't at all complicated, but there are some functions that the operator needs to know about in order for the machine to operate properly.
On the bale size, I would definitely scale down the bale size. If those 5x6 bales are wet that is too much weight. The only problems I have ever had with my wrapper, the only breakage experienced was when I custom wrapped bales that were too heavy. It stresses the braking system, and the hydraulics that push the machine along. If a 5x6 bale is in any way miss-shaped, or strings broken etc, then it will cause problems going through the hoop of the wrapper. It also takes a pretty good loader to move a 5x6 wet bale.
