SW IA | If you are going to spray for the neighbor will require a commercial pesticide license. Also will require a certain amount of insurance to get that certification. Generally I figure custom application rate somewhere between 6-7 here. If you pencil that out quick figuring will be spraying your corn and bean both twice you can afford a payment of 19K per year. Plus you will be doing your own application your way, wont have to worry about if it will get done when you want it done. For your size of operation I would be tempted to look into a used self propelled sprayer and get a nice system set up to blend quickly so are not waiting on fill times. | |
