Had the same experience here Mark. Dad has a field he wanted to switch in rotation for same reason. Notilled BoB. Looked beautiful... yielded 5-10 bu less through the field right next to a beans planted into stalks field. Same #, and yes the stubble had 100# MAP/100#Pot so not a fertility issue.... idk if working the ground would have helped or not?

I have the opportunity to pick up a bunch of bean stubble ground next year but Dont want to be 80% corn 20% beans.... I guess I'll likely try some beans after beans and till the ground???
