Subject: RE: JD 348 knot issues

Iola, Texas
Twraska

I know dang well an aggie did not create this, there would be more things to hit if we did !

Thanks, we did tie a string to the spring to pull it up a tad more. Will be getting new spring today. Im scared I see right through the mud and its clean as a whistle, maybe just a blade or two under the tab. When I saw the tucker screw up they went home then went towards the back and locked into place. Cant figure that one out yet. Almost on a plunger hit some hay comes up in that little gap and catches the tip of finger. The tucker fingers are sloppy but a new one has some slop also. I am going to try to move the further away from slot when in home position.
Thanks for the offer but this is a test run so its not mission critical yet. I got a number for a local guy that I will try to get out this time or do another test run next week or so. I have 1000-1200 bales I have to do in about 2-3 weeks.

I would buy a knotter half if the tucker fingers wernt causing an intermittent issues.
Sent you an email. Thanks
