| My first year using air seeder and DAP with seed in row. Huge difference especially on my poorest soils. Used Half the 18-46-0 as I previously used broadcast and plowed in, yet with better result. Leaf discoloration vanished. First cutting Sudan with good color leaf w/only 18 lbs N. Top dressed wheat in February. One field got no extra N was grazed out but still did better than I expected w/only 18 lbs N total.
I didn't know Map could be bought in dry form and heard it is more available, but sounds like I should try and find some. | |
