The bad thing about this plan is any momentary blink in power is going to require a trip to the unit to reset all the stuff that dropped off-line for a momentary outage that was too short for the emergency generator to even start up.

If you have a single service entry point, install a single transfer switch and generator to handle everything.

If you cannot afford new, look at used ONANS or Kohler etc. Old Generac may be no longer supported. There is a thriving aftermarket industry for Onan parts if Cummins Power doesn't have what you need.

Or get one from someone like JimGen's outfit where they take an older set in, service it and bring it up to modern control standards etc and then support what they sell.
