Subject: RE: They keep playing the crop on the "come," thus

Markwright - 6/23/2014 00:06 at some point there may be NO carry....but the "numbers" will look different. THAT is Always the BET in the usa...lead by the usda. "Next year," is thee bet sometimes, it appears.

There will always be a "carry over".    It's not mathematically impossible but realistically it is impossible to use every single kernel of corn before the next harvest starts.    There's always someone holding out for more money no matter what is being offered.   When they were offered $8 they wanted $10, someday when they get offered $10 they're gonna want $12.

Corn never was in danger of running out last year, that's why the price started dropping as people realized there was a crop coming and started selling corn they were holding for "big money".    I doubt we'll run out this year either, or next year, or any year for that matter.   It's the markets job to keep us from running out, and its never failed yet.

But keep preaching how the USDA is cooking the books and trying to screw the farmer if it makes you feel better.
