SW North Dakota | I drive a 2013 with the Ecoboost and my dad has a 2013 with the 5.0. Both trucks are equipped identically - lariat's, 20" tires, crew cabs, etc etc. Only difference is his truck is a long box and mine is a short. My Eco is an absolute dog. Best I've ever averaged is 16.5. I use it as my commute vehicle so it gets 25 miles to work and 25 miles home. Recently we took both of our trucks on a 100 mile trip to Bismarck. I averaged 14.4 and he averaged 19.0. The Eco definitely has more torque and acceleration, but I've never seen the mileage that they put on the sticker. | |
